We frequently deliver courses on behalf of other organisations – including the Chartered Institute of Marketing, the How to Academy and others.
We have three coming up which I’m running for membership organisations in the next couple of months. As they’re all open to non-members I thought it would be worth sharing details. The content of all the courses is applicable to any business or organisation.
Firstly for the Chemical Industries Association, I will be running a Media & Press Release Masterclass on 24th June in London. You will learn:
- how the media works
- what makes a good story
- how to turn your news into an attractive story (interactive brainstorm)
- the impact of social media
- how write a press release
Then on 1st July, I will be running a Writing effective press releases course in Edinburgh on behalf of the Public Relations Consultants Association. This is aimed at those new to writing press releases, and we’ll be concentrating on how to write a press release which will make editors and journalists take notice – and give your story the best chance of hitting the headlines.
And the following day, 2nd July, I will be delivering a Crisis Communications Strategy course at the Institute of Risk Management in London. The course will explain how to:
- Audit your crisis communication
- Identify different audiences
- Create a crisis communications strategy
- Develop holding statements
- Weigh up the pros and consof various communication channels, including social media.
There will be more courses in the future, so if you can’t make these, we’ll share details as dates are confirmed.
If you want to find out any more information about any of these courses, please do contact us on 020 8332 6200 or email@example.com, or go direct to the organisations we are running them for.
